Philly Diner Delaware County 51 Industrial Hwy Essington, PA 19029

When we arrived the waitress was pleasant and courteous. We were seated in the middle of the diner far away from any windows. Time about 1am on Friday of last week. We both ordered the Philly Cheese steak i ordered mine with onion rings. Before we ordered we were told that we could not order any entrees at such a late hour. only the fryer or sandwiches. uh ok.... My food comes out and the onion rings are dark and unappetizing ( because the grease really need to be changed) and the steak was over cooked and partially burnt. We felt so unwelcome i was so scared that I double checked my water and drinks for foreign substances...( yeah that deep) We finish our meal I simply bagged mine to throw away and we left. Upon leaving the waitress comes to the window to view us getting into the vehicle as if we were going to bother someones car. ( ARE THEY SERIOUS???) In this day and age ladies and gents yes it still exist. The word PREJUDICE!!! And the food had a nerve to be awful.. too funny

Ms. Tooties Soulfood cafe Philadelphia

Ms. Tooties Soulfood cafe

Ms Tootsies 13th and South Philadelphia pa
For New years we tried Ms. Tooties. We had tickets for an event upstairs but they were a tad younger than I thought, so we stayed down stairs.I pick a great table by the window the setting for a couple was perfect with the candle and the music. I was offered by host to dine in the Love lounge she called it and it was to loud and crowded. I think because the table I chose was for four people instead of two. Any who the waitress was pleasant the entire time. But dis appeared. I chose four wings, cheesy mac and cabbage. MAC and cheese was WONDERFUL. Chicken could have had a tad bit more seasoning but the cabbage was so bland I told the waiter to tell them they should take it off the menu. Over all I would give it 3 stars. My waitress did get lost as we wanted to drink as the new year Came in. I asked for the manager who apologized and offered a 5 dollar discount with my next visit. Yet What surprised me more was that the waitress came back discussed the matter with me. To the point that I was satisfied to maybe return again.kootos to Ms. Tooties

Imperial inn Chinese Restaurant 142 N 10th St, Philadelphia 19147

As we enter the restaurant, i am startled by the sound of a security system (chirp chirp..... chirp chirp)
Every 2 mins while i stand then sit in the lobby.
Then we hear loud talking in a foreign language through a door.
We walked through the double doors. I heard a pleasant “hello” and “ table for two?”
The carpet was dusty looking. I heard the loud sound of water coming from the restaurant in an echo as it was nearly empty.
I order the Lychee Duck. with gravy on the side for the white rice.
A wonderful hot tea is placed on the table, some chips and two sauces.
I crab a chip dip it in to this mustard sauce only to find my eyes watering and my tongue burning.
uh OK I assume this is hot mustard and this other must be duck
sauce.
I opted out of trying the next sauces. 2 minutes later,
our drinks arrive and 5 minutes after that her comes my duck.
Ah yes, I look at the plate and its a half duck fried with old flour
and a heaping serving spoon of this extra sweet sauce covering the duck
and three cubed pineapples.
As I cute into the duck it is tough I take a bite and the sweet sauce
over powers the duck.
Entirely to sweet. What happened to the duck??? I was devastated.
I went on to the rice and gravy. You cant mess up a pot of rice.
The gravy was better than my entree. Though everyone was so pleasant.
The food and the rrestaurant sucked.
I am starting this blog and ones to follow, because i am simply tired
of business in our urban communities taking us for granted and serving up anything they slob together .
With unknowing members of the community who are comfortable with accepting poor service.
We spend good money on clothing entertainment and food just like anyone in any other part of the city.
I am coming to diners, Chinese restaurants, bar and grills, lounges, street carts and all.
